Wee Keat Chan - Director
Wee Keat is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Australia. Subsequent to a number
of years with KPMG, Wee Keat joined the firm in
1990.
His primary areas of expertise include manufacturing,
fashion and services industry. He is also involved
in Investment and Business Consulting for Australian
and South East Asian clients seeking business
opportunities in South East Asia and Australia
respectively. Wee Keat’s financial background
in the Australian environment as well as his understanding
of the requirements of Asian investors and businesses
has been instrumental in achieving successes for
and with his clients.
Wee Keat has an extensive network of business
contacts and investors in the South East Asian
region. He was instrumental in the establishment
of manufacturing facilities and service entities in Malaysia and Singapore
on behalf of his Australian clients.Wee Keat was the National President of the Australia Malaysia Business Council from 2005 to 2009.
In 2007, in recognition of his meritorious service and contribution in further strengthening the trade relations between Australia and Malaysia, Wee Keat was conferred the honorary award of Johan Mangku Negara (J.M.N.) (Companion in the Order of the Defender of the Realm) by the King of Malaysia, His Majesty Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
Wee Keat was appointed in 2008 as a Board member of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Wee Keat is married with two children.
Chris Bray - Director
Chris is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He holds both Commerce and Computer Science degrees from the University of Adelaide and has been a director of Bray Chan since July 2006.
Chris’ primary areas of expertise include;
- Medical Practitioners,
- Professional Practices,
- Property Developments and Transactions,
- Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and
- Succession and Retirement Planning
He particularly enjoys assisting clients to structure businesses and investments to achieve tax efficiency and asset protection. Utilising his IT & Risk Management background, he also assists clients in relation to the development of efficient accounting systems and effective internal controls.
Chris is married with three children and has a particular interest in food and wine
Richard Bray - Consultant
Richard has over 30 years of experience within
the Accountancy profession and has been a principal
since 1982. He is a Fellow of The Institute of
Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Registered
Company Auditor. He has substantial experience
from both large internationally based accountancy
firms and smaller practices.
Richard’s primary focus is in property
development, particularly in the area of commercial
development. Projects with which he has been involved
have benefited significantly from Richard’s
experience and negotiating skills due to the intricate
local and statutory requirements.
On 1st July 2006, Richard took a step back from
the administrative side of the business, and now
concentrates purely on providing consulting services
to clients.
Richard is married with four children and is
a keen golfer.
